The practice room / A free introductory course
A gesture.
A reason. A record.
Learn a little at a time. Understand the symbols. Keep your own account of what happens.
Start with ordinary attention, then the Qabalistic Cross, the Lesser Banishing Ritual, and tarot. The course is an independent, contemporary introduction with sources attached—not initiation or certification. No special equipment or belief is required to read and explore.
Attention before interpretation
Begin with a very ordinary capacity: notice what you did and what followed. You do not need an extraordinary experience to make a useful record.
The Qabalistic Cross
A short sequence of gesture and sacred language that opens and closes the Lesser Ritual of the Pentagram. Learn the shape and the words before trying to make the experience intense.
The Lesser Banishing Ritual
Learn the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram in small pieces. Its practical form is a cross, a circuit of four directions, a central orientation, and a closing cross.
Read a card, keep a record
A tarot reading can begin with careful looking. Give the image time to say something more particular than the first keyword you remember.
A day with the Sun
Liber Resh gives the Thelemic day four devotional reference points. Begin by understanding the structure, then choose how you want to engage with the historical text.
Adapt every movement to your body. Breathe normally and use a comfortable speaking voice. Pause if you feel distressed or disoriented; return to ordinary surroundings. These exercises do not require sleep loss, fasting, pain, or intense altered states.
